As part of the course Problématiques en muséologie et diffusion de l’art : La Biennale d’art autochtone contemporain taught by Edith-Anne Pageot at UQAM’s art history department, students will hold a discussion with artists Jobena Petonoquot, Jason Sikoak, Craig Commanda and Mike Patten. In line with this year’s BACA theme, Narratives of the Creation stories, and building on reflections initiated during the 2014 edition, the discussion will focus on art as a vehicle for the transmission of narratives.
